Michelle Crosby - General Manager, Training
Michelle is the General Manager, Training for MAXimusSolutions Australia. In this role, Michelle is responsible for managing the national delivery of a range of Vocational Education Training that is primarily aimed at helping unemployed people to become 'job ready' and helping employers to maintain the currency of their employees skills.
Michelle has over 20 years experience in State and Federal Government and has qualifications in Financial Management, Human Resource Management and Business Administration. Prior to joining MAXimusSolutions Australia in 2008, Michelle held senior leadership roles with the ATO and ComSuper where she delivered significant organisation change in both agencies. These roles included the positions of Chief Financial Officer and Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Internal Services) at ComSuper and Chief Information Officer for the Superannuation Division of the ATO. In her role as Deputy CEO at ComSuper, Michelle was responsible for the Human Resource, Training, Financial Management and Governance Branches of the organisation.
Michelle joined MAXimusSolutions Australia in 2008 as an Executive Director in our Consulting Division. In this role, Michelle delivered a number of key reviews and projects, including:
- Working as the Australian lead for our parent company, MAXIMUS Inc., on the delivery of an 'off the shelf' web based product to integrate and modernise the Victorian Courts System;
- Delivering a Strategic Risk Management Plan for the ACT Department of Housing and Community Services;
- Creating an Assessment Tool to allow the Department of Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts to assess some 5,000 funding applications for the $2.4 billion Caring for our Country program; and
- Developing a Strategic Business Plan for the MAXimusSolutions Australia Consulting Division.
Michelle has a proven capability across large scale operational, information technology and corporate areas. She has a particular interest in capability development, organisational change management, governance and risk management.
Robert Stothard - National Training Manager
Robert has worked in both the public and private sector with many years of experience in business management, staff recruitment and induction, employee and client education and vocational training. His experience and knowledge of the job market coupled with his personal skills in coaching ensures success. Robert supports the belief that career development is a lifelong process and can assist people to manage their careers, make occupational and study decisions, job searching, resume preparation and career planning. Robert is a highly motivational public speaker and is the Team Leader of the Trainers for MAXimusSolutions Australia.
Tammy Burns - Training Operations Team Leader (Admin)
Tammy has worked for MSA for the past four years in various roles. These varied roles have provided Tammy with experience in many different areas such as, business administration, customer service, problem solving, facilitating pre-employment training, conducting traineeships and promotion of MAXimusSolutions services. Tammy is the Team Leader for the Health and Training Operations Team who provide support to Senior Management, Trainers, Psychologists, Exercise Physiologists and Occupational Therapists along with providing support to MAXimusSolutions's varied client base. Tammy currently holds a Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training a Certificate III in Business and is currently studying a Cert IV in Frontline Management.
Angela Hunter - Training and Development Consultant
Angela has a very strong background in the development and delivery of training programs in the private sector and with Job Network experience as well as mentoring and coaching Senior Managers in resolving complex people management issues. Angela has developed various pre-vocational and accredited training programs at all levels and is very familiar with the following areas; employee motivation and goal setting, return to work and motivational programs, individual and team assessment, management and career coaching training programs, course delivery and assessment (large groups and individuals), employee relations and advise, recruitment and selection (including set up and conducting assessment centres for bulk recruitment drives), retention and career development of employees and individuals. Angela has spent over ten years covering all aspects of Management (Human Resource) and Learning and Development including extensive policy and program development coupled with operational support activities and extensive workplace and classroom training experience. Angela holds a Bachelor of Business and International Bachelor of Business coupled with a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.
Trainers and Assessors
MAXimusSolutions Australia has over 20 experienced and qualified Trainers nationally, and all hold a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or a Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training. Our Trainers have a number of years experience, working and training across a range of industries including: Business and Business Administration, Corporate Training and Coaching, Customer Service, Hospitality, Retail, Customer Contact Centres, Food Processing, OH&S, Information Technology, Warehousing, Job Network, VET in Schools.
