Katrina Thompson - Executive General Manager
Katrina has over 11 years experience in management and leadership having worked in management roles across a variety of sectors including: Health, Training, Employment, Environment and Insurance. Katrina has specialised in the provision of consultancy services, new projects, business management and operational improvements.
With a proven record of project management Katrina has lead teams to ensure comprehensive understanding of new contracts and effective execution of critical performance and compliance metrics. Katrina has experience in consulting and presenting to large corporate clients, Boards of Directors and global company CEO’s. With a solid background in management Katrina has developed strategic plans with a focus on quality, growth and profitability.
Ian Scarborough - NSW State Manager
Before taking on his current role as NSW State Manager, Ian Scarborough was an integral member of the physical health services team at MAXimusSolutions Australia. As an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, Ian has a range of industry experience including the provision of health interventions within corporate health, cardiac rehabilitation, chronic disease management, and most recently Job Services and Disability Employment. He has a particular interest in the use of exercise and lifestyle change in the treatment of chronic and complex health conditions.
Abbey Vidondaraja - QLD State Manager
Abbey is a registered psychologist who has extensive experience in assessment and interventions across various settings. She has had significant experience in Parent / Infant Mental Health, Child / Adolescent Mental Health, Adult Mental Health, Forensic Mental Health, Private Practice, In-patient Hospital Programs, Early Onset Psychosis, Employee Assistance Program, Critical Incident Management Services, Vocational Rehabilitation and Injury management. She uses a variety of clinical and case management services and has provided various individual and group interventions.
Additionally, Abbey is an experienced and qualified Organisational Consultant and Trainer providing services in change management, mental health first aid, performance management, workplace investigations, conflict resolution and mediation services. She is involved in the recruitment, training and management of a multidisciplinary team of Psychologists, Rehabilitation Counsellors, Occupational Therapists and Exercise Physiologists and is also responsible for managing various State and National Client Accounts.
Jason Vella - VIC & Sa State Manager
Jason Vella is a registered psychologist with an extensive history of counselling and providing psychological and vocational interventions within organisational settings. He has worked in addictive behaviour change for consumers of nicotine replacement therapies, developing, delivering and evaluating remote intervention strategies such as telephone, email and internet resourced interventions.
Jason previously worked in occupational rehabilitation delivering vocational interventions, adjustment to disability counselling and workers compensation consultation prior to taking on roles in management of allied health staff within the workers compensation industry. Jason commenced with MAXimusSolutions Australia in March 2008. Jason has directly provided services across all major accounts, participated in working groups contributing to service design and quality and worked in training and mentoring allied health staff before starting his current role as State Manager for Victoria and South Australia.
Tracey Lakey - WA & NT State Manager
Tracey has been working in the injury management industry for over 14 years. Tracey has been employed with a number of Insurers working under various Workers Compensation legislations across Australia in roles ranging from Case Coordinator, Trainer to State Manager. Tracey moved into the Vocational Rehabilitation sector over 5 years ago and has managed Allied Health Teams in ACT, NT and WA.
She has a keen interest in the ongoing development of staff and the delivery of a quality health service to both our clients and the community and is responsible for the management of local and national client relationships.
Ann Thornton - National Clinical Quality, Performance & Innovation Manager
Ann is a registered Clinical Psychologist and board accredited supervisor with 25 years experience as a director of and senior practitioner within a multidisciplinary health unit. Ann has a Masters of Psychology (Clinical) from the Flinders University of South Australia and is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society with Clinical College recognition.
Ann is a Member of the Professional Practice Advisory Group to the Board of Directors of the Australian Psychological Society and is currently a member of the Strategic Leadership Program. She has taught in the clinical programs of a number of Universities, has supervised Masters Students in their clinical placements and is an accredited supervisor of probationary psychologists meeting registration requirements. Ann is the National Clinical Quality, Performance and Innovation Manager, a role which ensures the quality service provision of the day to day practice and professional development of psychologists and other Allied Health professionals within the organisation.
Malcolm Choat - ACT & TAS State Manager
Malcolm is a registered psychologist and has had extensive experience in undertaking assessments, vocational assessments and providing individual clients with one-on-one and group-based therapeutic interventions. Malcolm is an accredited Comcare rehabilitation provider and has experience in providing case management return to work services. He has worked for 20+ years in the workers compensation field, acting on behalf of insurers, employers and injured workers and has an extensive knowledge of State-based and Commonwealth workers compensation systems. He was worked as a mediator and facilitator of negotiated settlements and has acted in mediations resolving employment-related disputes.
Furthermore, Malcolm has extensive experience in the development and delivery of training modules in health, general well-being and psychological issues. He has delivered training to organisations and groups of psychologists. He is interested in developing and providing effective and evidence-based strategies in assisting organisations and individuals to manage and prevent psychological injuries in the workplace.
