Individual Solutions

In many of the training programs, additional places are available and we are pleased to be able to offer these to the general public as fee-for-service. This means that private individuals looking to upgrade their skills, develop their potential, or improve their work and life skills may also participate.

EXAMPLE: Private individual seeking personal development. A mother of three teenage children, Wendy is the first one to admit that she's a computer illiterate. She can't even programme the video, and the Internet is a complete mystery. But she feels that she really ought to know how to use a computer just to be able to keep up with her kids. And, of course, once the children are grown, she thinks she might go back to work. Wendy sees an advertisement in the local Technology Centre window for a "beginners computer skills course" being run by MAXimusSolutions, so decides to pay her own fee and join it. She likes it so much she then signs up for advanced course next year. OUTCOME: Two years later Wendy decides to go back to work, comes to MAXEmployment to help her find a job, and joins the IT dept of George's company. PS: She can also now programme her video.
