First class, first class, first class! These were the opening lines from Rich Montoni in his opening address at the Max Excellence Awards evening held at the Menzies Hotel in Sydney Monday night.
These words of endorsement came after an intense day of activity for the US delegation which also includes Akbar Piloti Chief Operating Officer for Max Inc.
Landing here on Sunday morning and met by Australian Senior management led by Australian MD Michael Hobday, Mr Montoni enjoyed a tour of the picturesque Sydney Harbour.
Mr Montoni said ' I think you would find it hard to find a bigger and more beautiful Harbour in the world.'
Monday it was down to business as the delegation firstly visited the Darlinghurst and Bankstown sites to meet the staff and get a feel for the Max culture in Sydney. They were then briefed on the Australian model and updated on the financials.
Mr Montoni and his party then moved on to the BMs conference where he and Michael Hobday gave presentations. They were then joined on stage by Akbar Piloti for a Q & A session.
Mr Montoni whilst impressed with what he has seen still urged the Max employees to keep striving to achieve. His key message was that focus is crucial to success in our business and he therefore urges everyone to stay focussed on what needed to be achieved. He also emphasized to everyone the importance of continuing to improve, stay ahead of the competition and add value to the client.
