Job Description/Duties:
1.Provide Leadership in the design, development, specification and implementation of registration, authentication and Security systems that support Centrelink and DHS, on-line services. This includes writing of technical documentation and involvement in the design phase of projects.

2.Work directly with Business and IT stakeholders to ensure Business Requirements are understood, security issues identified and acceptable solutions developed and implemented. Contribute to user interface design and testing.

3.Provide architectural advice.

4.Participate in meetings, info sharing sessions, JAD's as required.

5.Develop and update documentation impacted by the project (eg Security policy and standards, user guides, workflows, application support documentation).

6.Acceptance Testing: Prior to each major release for the duration of the contract.

SELECTION CRITERIA - Essential
1.Demonstrated experience in the analysis and design of IT applications, especially web based applications, in a large organisation.

2.Demonstrated experience in writing Business Requirements and System Specification documents.

3.Demonstrated experience in consulting Business and Technical staff and providing recommendations for system design.

SELECTION CRITERA - Highly Desirable:
1.Demonstrated experience in applying user centred design techniques.

2.Demonstrated knowledge of the National e-Authentication Framework.

3.Demonstrated knowledge of IT Security policies and principles.
