Mentoring and Facilitation

Case Study 1 - Civil Aviation Safety Authority

Our work with CASA, like all of our work, was completed to the highest standard. In September of 2007, MAXimusSolutions was contracted to mentor CASA in task, organisational structure and process improvement projects, which were expected to deliver improvements in organisational efficiency, and a measurable reduction in staffing costs.

Following an extensive, inclusive, consultation process with internal CASA staff in Canberra, MAXimusSolutions was able to provide on time a report, including; new detailed role definitions, organisational structure charts, a quantified benefits report, a risk assessment and mitigation plan, and a communications plan. We further provided both formal implementation planning and ongoing support throughout the initial change management process.

The effect of our work with CASA saw a significant reduction in staff costs, over and above that required as a minimum baseline for performance.

Case Study 2 - Department of Natural Resources and Water

MAXimusSolutions accepted an appointment to facilitate a Service Delivery reform workshop in March of 2007. This project was aimed at the end goal of total reformation of the Department's long term Service Delivery Policy.

MAXimusSolutions utilised our tried and tested methodology, based around our own unique interpretation of Professor Kotter's renowned change management principles. Over the course of the workshop, MAXimusSolutions developed a shared sense of urgency and commitment to organisational change. We facilitated the drafting of a new service delivery policy document, and provided advice on managing the change.

The impact of our work will be felt throughout the organisation as the policy is implemented and utilised for the next 5 to 10 years.
