Case Study 1 - Queensland Health

MAXimusSolutions were contracted to provide Code of Conduct investigation services for Queensland Health in early 2007. Queensland Health is a government department, with some 57,000 employees in its charge, spread across the breadth of Queensland.

MAXimusSolutions handled a variety of complaints including alleged breaches of the Code of Conduct. We utilised our experienced organisational psychologists and qualified HR Investigators to successfully resolve all interpersonal conflicts referred to our organisation, and recommended appropriate disciplinary measures. Ever looking for the chance to go above and beyond our scope of reference, we also provided recommendations regarding Queensland Health's approach to Workplace Harassment Training, which Queensland Health requested our help implementing.

Case Study 2 - Queensland Rail

MAXimusSolutions is a member of Queensland Rail's (QR) panel of preferred providers of Workplace Investigations & Mediation Services. QR is one of Australia's largest and most innovative transport providers. QR has approximately 13,000 staff across a variety of technical, trade, professional and administrative roles who are spread across hundreds of workplaces in Queensland and throughout Australia.

For this organisation, MAXimusSolutions has investigated a range of issues, including;

• Code of Conduct and other policy breaches
• Workplace harassment (including bullying)
• Sexual harassment complaints
• Complaints of threatening & violent behaviour
• Unlawful discrimination complaints
• Allegations of theft, and inappropriate use of QR resources
• Complaints by members of the public

As with all of our contracts, these services were provided in a timely manner, in accordance with QR's specific policy guidelines, completely fulfilling our terms of reference. Comprehensive reports were submitted to the relevant department heads. Importantly, senior management came to rely on our consistently high quality performance - to date all recommendations put forward by MAXimusSolutions have been actioned, either with or without our further assistance.
