Case Study 1

Kelly was in her 40's, a single mum and considered to be a Highly Disadvantaged client who had suffered a stroke. Kelly's Employment Consultant (EC) referred her to the First Impressions course. The First Impressions course is all about self presentation in an interview environment. Kelly enjoyed every part of the course (especially her new hair cut), feeling motivated and refreshed, Kelly attended a job interview the afternoon of the second day of the course. She was asked to commence employment the next day!

Case Study 2

Marie is in her 20's, was long term unemployed and a single mum. She was a jobseeker who had previously been very hard to get to even turn up to our interviews - let alone job interviews. She was referred to the First Impressions Course. Since completion of the course, Marie was in the office every day job searching and hounding the Job Placement Officer for vacancies. Marie's persistence paid off. Two weeks after the course she commenced employment!
