Case Study 1 - Organisational Review

MAXimusSolutions Australia was commissioned to undertake a review of an ACT Government department's Human Resources Management Branch.

The review was conducted through six major studies that addressed different aspects of the operation and effectiveness of the HRM Branch and were designed to allow the provision of an evidence-based review.

Following the review, a new structure of the HRM Branch was recommended to provide greater strategic HR capacity for the Department - this was an aspect missing from the existing operationally focussed Branch. The new structure also allowed Branch management to provide stronger leadership and to review both the skills of the staff and client focussed procedures.
